To assure our clients of the quality they deserve, each job goes through an extensive planning and organization process.  Upon receipt of the diagrams or instructions, they are consulted to ensure the precision of the smallest detail, and discussions are held with our toolmakers to ensure their complete understanding of the project.  Then, and only then, does actual construction begin.   Upon completion, a critical final inspection insures strict adherence to all specifications.

Our tooling division is confident they can assist customers with the initial design and fabrication of all specialized items, from medical tools to hummingbird shadows.  Special tools such as straight of helical flute, stagger or straight toothed, as well as tapered or straight shank, can be fabricated with either high-speed or carbide.  Punch & dies, such as the sets used to create the hummingbird shadow shown below, can also be designed to meet your individual needs.

All cutting tools can be fabricated in our machine shop.  After use, these tools can be returned to our grind shop to be sharpened and reconditioned back to manufacturer's specifications.

Shear blades, such as these used in sugar refineries, can also be fabricated in our machine shop and later returned to our grind shop for sharpening and reconditioning as needed.

Cut-Rite, Inc. has fabricated a variety of items for numerous industries.  For example:
A local medical facility requested the design and fabrication of this dolly.  It's primary use is the transport of Radiology equipment throughout the hospital.

The oil industry uses this gauge to verify the outside diameter of oilfield pipes.

The Aviation Board provided the specifications needed to fabricate this Rotary Antenna Mount.

Our machine shop has also completed a number of projects for a major aircraft company.  For example, this tooling fixture is used when the landing gear doors need to be "reskinned" (Translation: The sheet metal covering is removed and replaced.)   The skin is bolted to this 20' x 8' fixture and repairs proceed safely and efficiently.

This maintenance platform was constructed based on the customer's specifications.  It is wheeled into place and the height can be adjusted to facilitate necessary repairs to the aircraft.

Hanging work baskets such as this one are designed to attach to a truck's boon and lift workmen and tools into position against the aircraft.

Not all projects for the aircraft industry are on such a large scale.  These levers are only 4" long.

This machine, designed by the space industry, was fabricated and assembled here in our shop.   This prototype houses and electric motor, a gear box, and a welding head for stir welding of thin aluminum.

Light racks, such as this one, were designed and fabricated for the entire fleet of maintenance trucks owned by the City of Slidell.
